Since 1989, we had been working with the late Sybil Connolly who designed an exclusive range of products for Tiffany & Co. in New York. We developed a pattern now known as "Tiffany Weave". This is a totally distinctive weave never before produced on china. After a range of giftware, it was followed by a customised Dinner Service, which incorporates design, and production features unique to Celtic Weave. It is our hope that the continuing relationship between Tiffany, the worlds best retailer of jewellery and fine giftware with Celtic Weave China, Irelands most quality conscious producer of fine china will lead to many more new and innovative designs. TIFFANY & CO. ELIZABETH FRANCESCHINI Tommy Daly and his company, Celtic Weave, have been producing their fine Parian bone china for Tiffany & Co. exclusively since 1989. The association began when Tiffany's design director John Loring and the famous Irish designer Sybil Connolly found Celtic Weave to model and produce a new dinnerware pattern called Tiffany Weave that had been designed by Sybil Connolly. The pattern has become one of the most successful at Tiffany & Co. and continues to be one of the favourites with first time brides. The success of the pattern is mostly due to the special detail of the weave, there are other similar weave patterns on the market but none have the fine detail that was created by Tommy in the initial modeling stages. We continue to use Tommy's special skill and talent to expand into new dinner-ware and gift items, and look forward to many years of association together. Back |
